CNC Indexing & Feeding Technologies will showcase the TRACER and TRACER V Series 12’ hydrodynamic magazine style bar feeders at the 2015 Precision Machining Technology Show. The event takes place April 21-23 at the Greater Columbus Convention Center.
A biennial event since 2001, PMTS highlights technology, innovation and developments in the precision machined parts industry. Presented by the Precision Machined Products Association in conjunction with Production Machining and Modern Machine Shop, the event includes an exhibit hall, machining demonstrations, and classroom style technical sessions.
The Tracer Series of hydrodynamic magazine bar feeders is optimal for Swiss or fixed headstock style lathes. It works for up to 12’ bars with diameter capacity of 3 mm to 26 mm and shapes including round, hexagonal or square.
The series also features a dual anti-vibration device, front and rear external LED monitoring display and automatic remnant retract. Right hand and left hand versions are available.
The Tracer V Series of hydrodynamic magazine bar feeders in both 12’ and 6’ options that can handle bar diameters from 5 mm to 56 mm. Ideal for larger sliding headstock Swiss turning machines or fixed headstock lathes, the heavy-duty design also provides many benefits for metalworking operations:
- Redesigned legs and oil reservoir for improved stability and reduced contamination
- Support bracket for remnant eject area reduces noise and vibration
- Remnant capacity increased up to 420mm long
- Polyurethane guide channel design decreases vibration and provides for easier changeover
- Enhanced clamping power for improved functionality
