This versatile servo style short loader is ideal for manufacturing facilities that require the flexibility of turning both small and large diameter bar. With a bar diameter capacity range of 0.318 to 3.15”, this bar loader can accurately load heavy bars just as well as it does the smaller bars with a first feed accuracy of +/-0.02” and a feeding accuracy of +/-0.004”.
Servo style short bar loaders add unmanned production capability to a lathe. CNC Indexing’s short bar loaders feature an all-electric design that does not require air and provides a fast and accurate feeding cycle. These short bar loaders have a small footprint and can be utilized for small to large part production runs.
Features of the Vs-80L:
- Can handle a maximum bar length of 5 feet
- Material size range is 8mm to 80mm (0.315” to 3.149”)
- Offers patented LED strip for process monitoring from a distance
- Servo system allows for fast and accurate feeding
- 100 job program memory
- Can feed to a stop or preset dimension and has a sub-spindle mode
The Vs-80L comes standard with a remote control pendant for easy operator use, as well as an X-axis sliding rail system that allows for easy spindle liner removal.
